Rhosneigr
The waves at Rhosneigr are kind and ideal for learning or practising surfing in a sea kayak. They're not steep enough for a surf kayak. They break slowly as the sea bottom gets shallow on a consistent slope, so there isn't a dumping wave at the shore. There are rocky outcrops but they are fairly obvious. Avoid surfing into the beach just to the north of C.
In school holidays it can be busy but once on the water there is plenty of room. In windy conditions there will be kite surfers and wing foilers. There might be a jetski or two. If the main bay seems too busy then go through the large set of rocks (Ynys Feirig via F & G) into the next bay where you'll have it all to yourself.
